Windows 7 – But does it include Java?

How ironic that Microsoft has to resort to Java to overcome their download-of-the-week woes. Industry veterans will certainly see this as a strange turn of events.

In case you’re looking to download the beta – The download / registration page is here. Leave it to Microsoft to “bury the lead”.. They have the highest tracking download in their history and they can’t even link it from their home page.

On the download, to get the download to start I had to view-source and extract/run the download URL to get things moving. I guess some things never change.

Microsoft likes Java again.
